Identity lookups

Confirm a person against national records.

  • NIN Verification

    Verify a National Identity Number against the NIMC record by raw NIN, in-person selfie, or NINAuth share code.

  • BVN Verification

    Validate a Bank Verification Number through NIBSS: boolean match without PII, or the full record with subject consent.

  • Phone Identity Lookup

    Resolve a mobile number to the name and date of birth on its ICAD/BVN record. For corroboration and fraud signal, not as standalone identity.

How billing works

Failures are free

Validation errors, missing consent, provider outages and timeouts are never billed. A pending check is billed once, when it resolves.

Where can I see the price of each check?
In your dashboard, once you create an account. Enterprise rates are agreed with sales and confirmed in your order form before you go live.
What happens if my request times out and I retry?
Send an Idempotency-Key header with every request. A retry with the same key and body returns the original result and is never billed twice. A pending check is billed once, when it resolves.
What is the difference between Scale up and Enterprise?
Scale up is self-serve: pay per check from a prepaid wallet, with 15% off automatically once a calendar month passes 10,000 billed checks. Enterprise is for higher volumes or custom requirements: committed-volume pricing, monthly invoicing and named support, agreed in an order form.
Do hosted links, the Capture SDK, rules or bulk jobs cost extra?
No. Hosted verification links, the Capture SDK, consent requests, the review queue and rules, bulk jobs, exports, seats and Speedmap Connect (MCP) have no fee of their own. You pay for the checks they run, at each product’s price.
How do I pay?
Live usage is drawn from a prepaid naira wallet you top up from the dashboard. Every billed check is recorded in the wallet ledger against its reference_id, so finance can reconcile every naira.
